I found my way to Mormon Stories in early 2008, after several years of inactivity in the LDS Church. In this community of likeminded Mormons, I found the courage and companionship I needed to sort out why and how Mormonism mattered to me–because even when I was inactive, I knew my faith mattered to me a great deal. I told that story in The Book of Mormon Girl: A Memoir of an American Faith (Simon and Schuster, 2012). I live in San Diego with my husband (who is Jewish) and our two daughters, and I am living an unorthodox, progressive, feminist Mormonism in a mixed-faith household. Welcome!
