Blaze Thibaudeau is a 16-year-old boy from Gilbert, Arizona who went missing recently. He was found in Alaska with his mother and uncle. According to the news, his mother and uncle are under a doomsday “delusion” and believe in the imminent Second Coming of Christ. They see Blaze as a “Davidic servant” who plays a significant role in the Savior’s return. Is this yet another example of Mormon fundamentalist extremism tied to Visions of Glory and Thom Harrison?

Why would you out a 16 year-old like that? This is so unethical
How so?
I can’t speak for others who claim visions or prophetic dreams or NDEs. I had an NDE at age 11 where I was told I knew Jesus in a previous life and I would “see his face” in this life. Coincidentally (?) I went to the Los Angeles Zoo on Saturday January 22, 1977, at the age of 16, and saw a bald man speaking Arabic. We stared at each other, about six fee away, and the bald man pointed at me and yelled something to those with him in Arabic. I walked away fast. It was not until the year 2005, at age 44, that I discovered that bald man was Salim Musa Al-Ashi (Doctor Dahesh): whose followers believe he was the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. That man then visited me, to my home near Tacoma, Washington, in 2005, in the afternoon. In the day time. He died in 1984. My other NDE happened in Arizona (Cottonwood) in 2012 where I had a heart attack, and the ambulance took me to the emergency room in Cottonwood. On the way there I looked out the back window and I suddenly had “super-vision” in that I could see the details of leaves on trees from half a mile away. I turned around to look at the paramedic and saw I was white, pasty, and looking quite dead, and the paramedic was putting some lotion on the defibrillator pads charging up the machine. I did not want him hitting me with those bads so I jumped back into my body, and opened my eyes and told him “no” with finger. Later, he told me: “I’ve been a paramedic for 35 years and I’ve never seen anything like this.” He told the ER doctor that my heart stopped then started beating again a minute later by itself. The ER doctor said: “No, no. That can’t be right. Your EKG is malfunctioning.” As for prophetic dreams, I’ve had many: like on my mission I had a dream of a woman and a baby being put into the same casket, with people crying. The next day we tracted into an inactive Mormon family, who invited us in. They had just buried the son’s wife, and baby, in the same casket with the mother, a few weeks before. They were at Ocean Shores (Washington) visiting family, and the women took her baby out into the waves, and a log came up on top of a wave and struck the woman in the head, and the baby drowned before they could get to him. I’ve had many more than that. I cannot judge the visions of Julie Rowe or Tom Harrison (or anybody else). All I can tell you is what I myself saw and heard.
