1. My daughter recommended this TEDXtalk to watch. I’ve been sitting on the LDS fence for years now. Not feeling comfortable with the active side due to judgment and lack of fellowship

3. Hi Anthony. I almost did not listen to this since I am familiar with your story. I’m so glad I did and I will share this with many others, since I interact regularly with those in “faith” crisis.

   I was initially a bit shocked by the depth of your emotion but then realized that you were inviting us in to share your experience. Wow, what an honor and how meaningful to share this with you and not just hear about. Due to church employment, my “church” (not faith) crisis stretched out over 30 yrs.

   You said so many meaningful things in such a short time. I’ll just mention two. YES, LDS Church/faith crisis is an existential, identity crisis for many, if not most. That cannot be overemphasized. Your description of reaching for and experiencing the mystery of life without having to attach conceptual meaning to it was very profound. Thank you.

      I’m grateful that these underlying meanings came across.

      I was more emotional than I intended to be, as I relived some of the trauma on stage, but I’m grateful to know that it connected.
