Today we will be responding to Jacob Hansen’s video where he expresses the confusion that conservative Mormons are experiencing regarding the Church’s stances on LGBT issues.

Totally agree with you! Part of me also feels for Jacob. I went against my better judgment to shun and persecute queers when I was TBM, because Oaks told me to “stand up for traditional marriage.” As the church chases PR goals now, a lot of members are going to wonder what the hell was it all for?
Let’s not forget about Holland’s shots at BYU faculty:
“Yet, I fear that some faculty are not supportive of the Church’s doctrines and policies and choose to criticize them publicly.”
I think Gerardo is right. Most of this is coming from.the bottom up. But then again, the new p.r. spokesperson choice is puzzling.
Seems like Hansen is pointing out the same inconsistencies in church practices that John is pointing out. Whether the leadership is duplicitous or simply cowardly in failing to take a stand, Hansen has a right to be indignant over these unacknowledged contradictions, or “mixed signals.” You guys don’t agree with his position. That’s fine. Enjoy watching the battle this time, but try not to cackle so loudly as spectators. 🙄
I LIKE caffeinated John. Don’t apologize!

John was mad as Hell in this episode, the angriest I have ever seen. Not only that, but he and the co-host really beat a dead horse, stopping the audio they were reviewing nearly every ten seconds to interject commentary. I found myself yelling out loud, “Stop it. Let the audio play”. I just wasted nearly 2 hours of my life.
