769: On Building Secular Communities: Bart Campolo interviews John Dehlin interviews Bart Campolo

“Over three decades of Christian ministry, Bart became increasingly committed to building loving relationships, working for social justice and cultivating a sense of gratitude for the wonders of life. Now, as a community builder, counselor, podcaster, and humanist chaplain at the University of Southern California, he inspires and supports non-believers who are banding together to actively pursue goodness in an openly secular way.”

  1. This was such a wonderful episode and really touched my heart. I was left with so many questions on how I can do a better job in my community to love those and serve those in my community. I’m on the other side of growing up Mormon. I’ve been out of the church for years, am now in a nondenominational congregation, but wan to help others more. I want others to have opportunities in life. Thank you for this podcast and for broaching a sensitive subject.

  2. John thus podcast is not loading . Not sure if others are experiencing difficulties
    Cheers JOHN oreilly

  3. John and Bart, thanks so much for this wonderful dialogue. As someone who is considering leaving my Presbyterian church, and who has had a long-time intellectual interest in Mormonism (and anti-Mormonism), I found your discussion to be incredibly enlightening.
