The show notes should probably include a link to the patriarchal blessing from Joseph Smith Sr. to Oliver in 1833 and the changes made in 1835 by Oliver.
Here is the Mormon church’s discussion on the extensive changes made by Oliver:

The Mormon church’s discussion doesn’t bring attention to the fact that Oliver added a prophecy by ancient Joseph to his blessing regarding the restoration but just recognizes that extensive changes were made. (“These blessings shall come upon him, Oliver, according to the blessings of the prophecy of Joseph in ancient days, which he said should come upon the seer of the last days and the scribe that should sit with him and that should be ordained with him.”) and added a visit by John the baptist. ( “and after received the holy priesthood under the hands of those who had been held in reserve for a long season. Even those who received it under the hand of the Messiah, while he should dwell in the flesh.”)
Physical evidence of adding in the priesthood restoration after the fact should be front and center.
A Second Comment
The web of lies continues to our modern day.
The church uses the edited 1833 blessing to Oliver account as evidence of the priesthood being restored when none of this language existed in the original blessing.
“Shortly after recording this 1835 “preface,” Oliver then transcribed a blessing Joseph Smith had given him on 18 December 1833. The text of this 1833 blessing is important as an early account of the restoration of both the Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthoods and the persons involved:”

So an early account of the restoration that was made up after the fact is evidence that it is true? Very strange indeed.
